One enduring wish,
that has been here and true,
just to have your heart
and for love to permaate through,
The past has gone and here is now,
the questions never go,
will questions ever be answered,
will I ever know,
Yesterday can't be changed,
I am not the man she knew,
Will she keep comparing,
and keep the same old view,
I see us in the future, with the odd side glance,
can this be possible, will she give a chance,
A chance on love, a chance on faith,
A leap and hold my hand,
take a jump and a big breath,
and maybe we will land,

taking on our demons,
with our eyes quite wide,
Giving strength and courage,
Doubling our resource,

and giving no remorse,
a faith in love,
and a love of faith, a leap to the unknown,

setting up a home,
simple things, and yet so much,
commit and be with me,
I wait and wait with fingers crossed for you and I to be.

You know I love you oh so much,
yet you keep me waiting here,
standing on the outside,
sipping just one beer,
to take away  rejection,
to stifle all the fear,
sitting all alone,
and wondering if your near,
near to a decision,
near to break my heart,
or give me the salvation,
and us to never part,
commit or not, I have no clue,
and kept a danging here,
sitting all alone,
supping on my beer!
